The latest polls came out today, and the Mountain West Conference has 2 teams in the top 6. TCU is #4 and Utah moved up to #6 after beating Air Force on Saturday. There are only 5 unbeaten teams left in the county, and 2 of them play in the MWC. And yet, neither one of them is guarenteed to play in a BCS bowl game. But guess who is? The winner of the Big East Conference!

Really?!? Are you serious? There's not a single Big East team ranked in the Top 25, and yet one them (it looks like it might be Syracuse) will be playing in a BCS bowl game. That is just wrong! Its sick and wrong!

Utah, TCU, and Boise State all deserve to have a chance to play for the national title, or at least be in one of the 4 other big bowl games. When are the powers that be going to wise up and change the system? When are teams going to allowed to play in the big games because they deserve to be there, not just because they happen to be in one of the "choosen" conferences? When are they going to quit letting money dictate policy and instead do the right thing and let the teams who prove they belong fight it out? When are they going to quit messing around and have a playoff system?

I'll answer my own question. Never. And that's wrong.
