Two legislators in the middle of Utah's immigration debate join us this week
on "On the Record."

Rep. John Dougall was one of the participants in Governor Herbert's immigration summit.

Rep. Paul Ray recently travelled to the Arizona-Mexico border.

They will discuss their experiences and what to look for in the 2011
legislative session.

Rep. Ray will also show some of the pictures from his trip.

It airs Sunday morning at 8, right here on ABC 4.

Got to watch. FAIR and questioning journalism. Good job! Did you folks know about the facts and two of the rules of boarder enforcement? 1: If a trespasser makes it past the boarder by 300 yards. The pursuing boarder guard must stop the chase and return to the boarder. 2: The trespassers with 500+ lbs of drugs or more are held for prosecution. IF they have 490 lbs they confiscate the drugs and send the smuggler back. The boarder patrol often catches the same smuggler several times the same day or week and can't do anything. Source: Two state senators doing their job and investigating/testifying about the problem. They visited Arizona 3 weeks ago....ITS NOT USA ITS OUR WEAK KNEADED LEADERS/ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS NEED TO FIRE THEM!! GET a commitment to what politicians will do and hold them to ejections of trespassers!! Our honest trying enforcement officers are just as frustrated as us!!! (Unless they are Burbank.)

I really don't understand the problem with issue, the illegals are in this country illegaly so deport them thats all there is to it, remeber a few years ago, a family from the U.K. was deported because of a mistake that was made on their paperwork? well what's the differance? at least they filled out the paperwork. I'm tired of seeing more and more legals loosing their jobs and homes because of this issue and no one wants to stand up and do their job. Police chief Burbank and attorney general Mark Shurtliff should be vacating their office, they are not doing their jobs. It's simple the illegals are just that illegal DEPORT THEM!!!
