Nicea DeGering - Could getting an F be a thing of the past?

Did you ever fail a class?  Get an F on your report card?  I swear, my high school French class was unpassable!  Okay, at least that's what a told my mother. 
A high school is now doing away with Fs completely.  What do you think?  Does it hold kids accountable or give them too many hits to their self esteem?
