Marcos Ortiz: Maybe I can help color

My daughter is back to school and a sophomore at Juan Diego High.  She asked me to help her with her AP social studies.  I said sure and started reading.  Wow! I'm sure glad I don't have to digest this material for a t.v. story.  As my daughter looked on waiting for her father to help her get through this rigourous assignment I kept thinking how do I tell her I don't understand this. I told her I need to be left alone while I look over the material.  That's when I went on the internet, got definitions and came up with some kind of answer to her problem.  After she returned I pretended to have vast knowledge of the concept and she was proud of me.  Then she asked "Dad can you help me with AP biology?"  Busted!
