Marcos Ortiz: Forgive me father ....

I just couldn't be pried loose from Saturday's game between San Francisco and New Orleans.  My wife and daughter wanted the family to go to church (Catholics have an option to attend mass Saturday evenings).  But I just couldn't do it. Not this game and boy was I rewarded with a game for the ages.  It was like a pin ball zipping across the machine.  And how could you not cheer for Alex Smith and the 49'ers. Unless of course you're from New Orleans.  I'm a Denver die-hard. But man that was some good football. So forgive me Lord for choosing the pigskin over the prayer book. But I did go Sunday morning (without the family).
