As I was taking notes and listening to Elizabeth I've never experienced this moment in the 30-years of reporting. I couldn't help but become emotionally involved as Elizabeth was wrapping up her testimony. She looked so much different, no longer that 14-year old girl or the 18-19 year old that we later became acquainted with. But she came across as a young woman who had a strong determination in her voice. There was no hesitation on her part. Someone said she was coached. I don't think so. To me she sounded like a woman who had found her inner strength to get rid of the demons that had come into her life. She was forceful and sounded very confident in her testimony. And when she was nearing the end of her testimony I remember her saying a follower of God would never do something like this .... you wanted to stand up and applaud her. Of course I didn't, I just kept on writing and thinking "Go Elizabeth, Go, this is your moment."
