They weren't supposed to even be here. In spring my beloved New York Yankees were tagged as "also-rans." In the American League everyone was picking the Boston Red Sox to win the AL title. And now the Sox are fighting for their lives to just make the playoffs. And how appropriate that Jorge Posada, the forgotten member of the "Core-4" got the game winning hit. Bring on the Tigers and Rangers!
