My daughter was so excited to go to her first "Big Girl" concert with friends. Of course the concert for My Chemical Romance was sold out and I had to work the classifieds to find a pair of tickets. I came through and she called me her hero. I picked them up after the concert and the excitement was still in her face. But she did tell me that for a few minutes she thought she was going to suffocate. No one sat down, everyone stood for three hours and they were cramped in a tiny nightclub. She felt like a sardine in a can. At one time she told me she couldn't breathe and was paniced. She eventually forced her way out, someone lifted her and was passed overhead from person to person. Just like you see in School of Rock. She made it to the end where there was air. Her anxiety was over and she and her friend were back in their element. After wards she said it was so cool to be in there. Okay I said. As a grownup I became worried over what had just happened. But then I thought it was the same feeling I had many hears ago. I had a front row seat to see Santana. In fact it was next to the speakers. I couldn't hear for two weeks but I too thought it was "cool."
