Question for both: Do you believe that the Mormon church should be able to maintain its tax-exempt status and take an active role in legislative matters? Example: Liquor laws in Utah.

Is is sometimes hard to deviate from the expectations of your party leaders to better represent the citizens of the second district?

To Philpot: How do you intend to work towards a balanced budget with your platform of tax cuts without significantly decreasing spending in: the military, social security benefits, medicare, or medicaid? Which of those programs do you think need to be cut?

Why are all 10 planks of the communist manifesto operational in our country today? Why is that? Have you ever studied it? You will notice the second plank of the communist manifesto is a graduated income tax. I want anyone running for public office to explain this to me. Especially if they do nothing to stop it.

To Philpot: 2nd District Grassroots Republicans have place Matheson=Pelosi signs all over the District. The purpose is said to be to stimulate voter conversations about Matheson's voting record in comparison with Pelosi and her Democrats. How similar is Jim Matheson's actual voting record to Pelosi's Democrats?

To both: What are your plans to balance the federal budget and/or reduce the tremendous deficit spending in Washington. How do you see fixing social Security in the very near future?

Thanks for asking public input on the matter. I hope that at least one of these questions make it to the debate since they are seldom asked questions, but are so fundamentally important and understood by the founders of this great nation. My questions: 1: Both= Since there are specific provisions in the US Constitution enumerating areas of your authority as a federal legislator, what will you do about unauthorized federal code such as the Federal Reserve Act, “Obamacare", any undeclared war, bailouts, or retroactive immunity? 2: Matheson= You failed, after tremendous pressure from constituents, to co-sponsor and support HR1207 authorizing the first audit the Federal Reserve ever. With the US economy having been held hostage for nearly a hundred years, a miserably failed objective, and a 90%+ loss of purchasing power since it's inception, why? 3. Philpot= Why show any support for Constitutional amendments when the current contract with America isn't being followed by Congress?
