Wow, what a fantastic weekend. I hope you enjoyed your Saturday and Sunday as much as I did. I mentioned in my blog last week that my "fall of firsts" continued with a trip to Rice-Eccles Stadium for my first Utes game.
I must say the weather wasn't quite perfect. My 7-year-old and I were layered up and ready to conquer the wet snow that was falling when we arrived. I don't know about you but I've been known to arrive at sporting events before the stadium gates open. What can I say, I love sports! We arrived a little early, as usual, and it took some convincing on my part to get my son to stay out of our seats until it got close to game time. The wet snow soaked us pretty quickly but to be honest, neither of us minded one bit.
The atmosphere was GREAT! On a cold, snowy Saturday the stadium was packed and it was loud. I love the enthusiasm, the MUSS and while I didn't try one of the Cowboy Corn Dogs they looked amazing!! I'll try one next time, my son wanted kettle corn so I felt obligated to help him out!
I posted some pictures on my facebook weather page. You can check them out by clicking "like"
http://www.facebook.com/glennwilleyweatherWe're keeping our eyes on a developing winter storm for Friday and Saturday. This one may mean significant snowfall down to the Valley floor! We'll be watching this closely through the week. Check back later in the week for the latest in my blog. Thanks for reading and have a great week!
