It's Thanksgiving week and that means family, football and feasting though not necessarily in that order. But as the name says, it's also time to give thanks. I try to take time every day to be thankful. It may just be a moment in the car on the way to work or a quiet moment at home. I've found that taking time to be thankful each day can take those not so good days and make them better.
I'm thankful for my wife. When we got married 11 years ago I'll bet she never thought Salt Lake City would be the fourth place we would live! The television business is crazy and I'm grateful for a wife who understands the craziness.
I'm thankful for two healthy boys. My guys can make me laugh on the worst days. I love watching them grow, I just wish it would slow down some days!
I'm blessed to have a supportive family, great friends and I'm thankful for my job. It's been a tough year for a lot of people, myself included, but there's so much to be thankful for. Try to take a moment to be thankful, you might have to think a bit but I guarantee you'll find something.
