With the NBA draft just nine days away, the Utah Jazz are holding their biggest pre-draft workout to date.
That's right, tomorrow the Utah Jazz will have their minds blown when Jimmer Fredette goes head-to-head against UCONN's Kemba Walker. Four other players will be in the mix as well.....Josh Harrellson (Kentucky), Senario Hillman (Alabama), Malcolm Lee (UCLA) and Paul Carter (Chicago). But let's be honest, it's all about the Jimmer-Kemba show.
The only thing missing is Kentucky's Brandon Knight. Many believe if the Jazz don't go with a big man at No. 3, they'll take either Knight or Walker, assuming they're available. However, there are mixed feelings on whether Utah should select Jimmer at No. 12 if he's still on the board.
It'll be interesting to hear from Jazz management how Jimmer and Kemba looked against each other. Fredette has said throughout the pre-draft process that he would change his workout schedule to foster head-to-head competition against Knight and Walker.
This will mark Fredette's 5th pre-draft workout leading up to the June 23rd draft. So far he's suited up for Indiana, New York, Sacramento and Phoenix. He's expected to be taken anywhere between the 7-20 range.
