Just a heads up, this blog might make a few of you jealous.
I'm a lucky man this December. Not only do I get to spend Christmas with my amazing family back home in Jacksonville, Florida, but I'm also heading to three bowl games this month! That's right, I said three!
First up, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho. I'll get to cover the Utah State Aggies against the Bobcats of Ohio. That game is this Saturday, December 17 on the world famous smurf turf. I can't wait for that!
The day after I get back to SLC from my trip home I've gotta turn right back around and head to Dallas for the Armed Forces Bowl. BYU has a showdown with Tulsa on December 30th. An added bonus about this trip is I get to see one of my best friends who I've known since kindergarten.
Later that night after the game, I've gotta catch a late flight to El Paso where the Utes go up against Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl the very next day on New Year's Eve!
Yes, it's a lot of traveling, and yes it'll be a ton of work, but you won't hear me complaining. I get to cover sports for a living.
Wes and Dana, if you two are reading this, don't worry, I'll bring you both back a magnet.
