Brent, Before you call Warren Jeffs the 'pedophile prophet', you should note that Joseph Smith, Jr., married Helen Mar Kimball when she was just 14. This is from her journal: "[My father] (Heber C. Kimball) asked me if I would be sealed to Joseph … [Smith] said to me, ‘If you will take this step, it will ensure your eternal salvation & exaltation and that of your father's household & all of your kindred.[‘] This promise was so great that I willingly gave myself to purchase so glorious a reward. … [After the marriage] I felt quite sore over it … and thought myself an abused child, and that it was pardonable if I did murmur." Read your Church History before you decide to publicly slam another polygamist pedophile prophet. The one you write about might be your own.... Just so you know, I am LDS. Not here to hurt the Church, just setting the record straight because I was very upset when I first learned about Joesph's actions like the one noted above. You don't serve the LDS Church well by slamming Jeffs for issues that affect the LDS Church too.
