Brent's Blog - Attacking Romney's Olympic achievement

I grow tired of political hit men who cynically try to rewrite Utah's Olympic story. It was our shining moment on the world stage. Romney deserves our continued thanks for a job well done.

Anonymous -- You neglect to note that I have also unjournalistically predicted that Mitt Romney, a Mormon, will not be elected president. I stand by that prediction. Also, your comments only prove you have no idea my politics (I am a registered "unaffiliated") or who have voted for in past elections. I make observations on things of interest to me. This is a blog, not a newscast.

Good comment, Brent. What I particularly enjoyed was how you *objectively* made sure to expose any political-hitman attacks launched by Romney's camp, like blaming Obama for his failed economic policies under an opposition party that had caused the biggest financial collapse since the Great Depression. In 2000 the U.S. had a balanced budget and $5 trillion in debt. In 2008, the housing market collapsed and we had almost $14 trillion in debt after huge tax cuts to the wealthy and two unfunded wars. I can't find a single blog post from you, Brent, decrying this kind of theft from the American people. I can't find a single instance where you "exposed" some kind of conservative malfeasance. But you did "catch" Elizabeth Warren for claiming to be a Cherokee! Wow! You are a "journalist" of amazing objectivity! I'll give you that one!

I've been around these boards a LOT.. I've yet to see any but a few nutters say anything other than the Olympics were grand and well organized.. I think what has a lot of people perplexed, is how the Governors camp is insinuating that is 'all he did'.. as if the Governor can't, wouldn't, didn't multi task any.
