Saudi Arabia conducted a test recently. The kingdom's military shut down air defenses - told their interceptor pilots to stand down.
And the purpose of the test?
The Sunday Times of London recently reported the test was to see if they could allow Israeli bombers to fly over their country.
And where would these Israeli bombers be headed that they would need to fly over the Saudi Kingdom?
Would you believe Iran?
Specifically, the planes would be out to destroy the key facilities in Iran's nuclear weapons program.
I know, I had to re-read the
Times article a few times for the implications to sink in.
A Muslim state secretly plotting to betray another Muslim state? And with the Israelis no less!
They’re apparently that scared of the Mullahs of Iran and the prospects of them getting nukes. Apparently the Saudis are not alone. Egypt and Jordan are worried too.
It makes me more than a little nervous. How about you?
