It’s not even 4am but the Good Morning Utah crew has been up for hours preparing for the day’s news, which now begins at 4:30. So, it should not come as a great surprise, although I find it somewhat surprising, and amusing, that we are noshing on gummy bears and caramel rice cakes by the time the commercial breaks roll around at 6:30. It’s a different life when you work those hours. It’s fun, and nonstop news from 4:30 to 9am builds certain camaraderie, but the strange sleeping and waking hours also create the most unusual eating habits, which we all shared this week. As a visitor on Good Morning Utah I am grateful for the snacks that kept me mostly awake, along with the diet sodas while I sat in for Angie. I owe the GMU team a full bag of gummies and a diet Pepsi!
