SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A Salt Lake woman, accused of assaulting, kidnapping and beating a man is behind bars on a $100,000 bond.
Police tell ABC 4 the victim was at a small apartment complex at 3rd South and 766 East when Savannah Telina Rios beat him, cut him with a knife and threatened to kill him.
A Probable Cause statement says the defendant ordered the victim "... to take off all of his clothes." It continues saying, "...the defendant slapped him several times and took out a knife and asked, 'You wanna die?'" Then the "...defendant grabbed his belt, wrapped it around her hand and hit him several times..." in the groin. The victim "...pleaded several times for his life..."
Police say the case soon turned from violence to robbery.
According to police, Rios made the victim take her to his house where she stole some of his electronics.

"He withdraws 500 dollars and says he needs to go inside the bank and he is able to free himself and then run off to a police station that is nearby," said Gill.
West Jordan police found Rios still sitting in the victim's car and arrested her. The victim's injuries were not life threatening.
