Ogden, UT (ABC 4 News) Police in Ogden are investigating a bizarre beating case. Last week, a man wearing handcuffs showed up at a Sinclair gas station at Patterson Street and 30th South. Sinclair employee Scott Thompson told ABC 4 News, "We heard this guy come to the window yelling, Help me! Help me!"

Thompson has seen a lot working at the station, including shootings and fights, but this was a first. "He had blood all over him. He had cuts on his face."

But that's not all - Thompson says in addition to having handcuffs on - the man didn't have any shoes on his feet - just socks. Thompson said the man was telling him and others a story about five or six people jumping him on Patterson Street.

Thompson called police and when they arrived the story changed from a random act of violence to what appears to be an act of revenge. "He told us that him and some of his friends broke into a house and was stealing stuff and he got caught. They took him into the house, handcuffed him and beat the crap - beat the heck out of him."

Police tell ABC 4 News that they have one person in custody - identified as Gary Rush (see photo) - in connection with the case and they are looking for two more men. As for the victim - so far, police have not released his name.
