SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Utah County officials say a worker was killed at a highway construction site in Saratoga Springs on Tuesday.

The incident happened at 800 West 1200 North in Saratoga Springs.

Officials say 31-year-old Nicholaus Blatnick of Salt Lake City was killed by an asphalt grinding machine at around 1:30 p.m.

Police say Blatnick's co-workers tried to revive him before emergency personnel arrived.

Saratoga Springs officials said Blatnick was a contractor working for Questar Gas.

The incident will be investigated by occupational safety officials.
