Tooele County chase ends in Magna

MAGNA, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say an attempted traffic stop in Tooele County ended in Magna with an attempted home invasion on Thursday.

According to police, a Tooele County Sheriff's deputy tried to stop a vehicle in Lakepoint when the driver sped away, leading the deputy on a chase.

Police say the chase went through State Road 201 and into Magna, where the driver ditched the vehicle at 8350 West 2159 South and ran away.

Police say the driver was caught while trying to break into a home.
