SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – If you like fast, foreign cars, you may want to head to the South Towne Expo Center this weekend. You’ll see some of the most expensive cars on the road. This weekend they're on display at the International Auto Expo in Sandy.
"Everything from Maseratis to top line Ferrari," said Tyler Harris, Scott Harris Imports.
The blue Maserati Quatroporte retails at $125,000, the white Ferrari 458 Italia a mere $236,000, and the new Ferrari FF will cost you a cool $306,000.
Harris said you may want to start with something more modest like the entry level Ferrari California. Its steering wheel is the first to have a double clutch seven speed gear shift.
"The rear glass goes up over the top of the roof," said Harris.
It’s also the first with a retractable hardtop.
"This car passes at about $206,000,” said Harris.
“That's it?” asked Reporter Brian Carlson.
“That's it, very affordable. I don't know why everyone doesn't have one in their garage already," said Harris.
If you're looking to pony up and buy a Ferrari, most of those on display you can actually take home today, with the exception of the Ferrari SA Aperta, that one Ferrari chooses you.
"They built 80 for their 80th anniversary for the entire world. They've all been sold," said Harris.
If can't buy, you may try just feeling it out for size.
The Auto Expo runs Friday through Monday at the South Towne Expo Center located at 9575 S. State Street in Sandy.
