SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The day after Christmas is one of the biggest travel days of the year and for those of you hitting the road a snowstorm storm could mean major headaches.  Drivers can expect up to six inches in the valleys and up to a foot on the benches.

Utah survived a Christmas Eve snow dump with several slide offs.  Round two hits Wednesday on Dec., 26 before sunrise.

"There's a lot of black ice.  People have got to be careful.  There's a lot of accidents," said Tessa Collins predicted of the storm.

Utah Department of Transportation truck drivers are expected to be hard at work clearing snow from the major interstates including Interstate 15, 80 and 70.

Not everyone is concerned. Many people are enjoying their Christmas break and couldn't be more happy with the snowfall.

"I love the snow. I wanted a white Christmas and so that was kind of my wish and since I don't have anywhere to drive or anywhere to be going tomorrow I say let it snow," Kelli Fannin said.

Kids will likely be playing in the snow from just above St. George north and as far east and west as the state goes.

"We're going to stay home and play with our Christmas presents," Fannin continued.

This snowfall is different from the Christmas Eve storm. It's forecast to be much colder and so the threat of black ice is a bigger concern.
