SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Following the first major snowstorm of the season, ski resorts all around Utah are opening up this week.

Brighton opens up its winter slopes to skiers and snowboarders on November 13.

Many of the area resorts have improved site conditions for this season.

The latest opening dates for resorts around Utah are as follows:

Alta, November 16
Beaver, TBA
Brian Head, November 16
Brighton, November 13
Canyons Resort, November 23
Deer Valley, December 8
Eagle Point, December 21
Park City, November 17
Powder Mountain, November 21
Snowbasin, November 22
Snowbird, November 15
Solitude, November 14
Sundance, December 7
Wolf Mountain, November 23
