Matty needs to review the Dual Sovereignty Doctrine. Robertson violated state and federal law. The state has the ability to pursue its own interests in justice. The federal judge failed to order a just sentence. The state judge succeeded. If the state didn't have the right to pursue its own interests in justice, the feds could eradicate that right through mistrials, bringing charges for lesser included offenses, federal pardons, or, as in this case, absurdly light sentences. Our state and federal constitutions remain inviolate.

Disgusting. But, he was tried once. Just because the feds screwed up, doesn't give the state the right to prosecute for the same crime. Again, our Constitution is meaningless.
