ROY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Weber County officials say a SWAT team has been called in to negotiate a hostage situation in Roy.

According to county officials, an individual was holding at least one person hostage and that a police negotiator was trying to bring a peaceful end to the situation that may have involved two hostages.

The suspect may have had access to guns, although police did not say whether the suspect was using a gun during the incident.

The incident unfolded at 5311 South 3370 West.

A short time later, police said the suspect was taken into custody.
