If their excuse is because of an ongoing drug investigation they could still let the parents know and have them sign a non-disclosure contract or something. There is no excuse for West Valley City to leave her parents without any kind of explanation as to why they felt they had to kill Danielle. The rest of us can wait, but they need to be told why. They need it for closure so they can start healing. It is a sad day when an investigation is more important than someone's life. The citizens of Utah have seen many sad days the last couple of years. Too many lives have been sacrificed in the name of the War on Drugs and we will all become victims of it before too long.
