Police search for missing Helper teens

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police asked for help from the public in locating two teens missing from Carbon County since November 29.

Police say 17-year-old Mattea Jeffs and 16-year-old Jesse Turner were last seen around 2:00 p.m.by Mattea’s 15-year-old brother, leaving from her home at 600 North and Martin Road in Helper.

Police say Both Mattea and Jesse have not been heard from since.

According to an article published by ETV 10 News, the pair are boyfriend and girlfriend, having been separated after Jesse was sent to live with his mother in California in 2011.

Mattea Jeffs was described as a white female with bright red hair and green eyes. She is five-feet nine inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a plaid jacket with tan strips, jeans and D.C. shoes.

Jesse Turner was described as a white male with brown hair, brown eyes. He is five-feet eight inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey Carbon Football sweater and blue jeans.
