MIDVALE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say at least 50 cars were broken into at five locations near 7200 South and 700 East sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

"Looks like they actually stuck screw drivers in and tried to pop the window open," said Ed Hustus who found his car windows smashed outside the Holiday Inn Express in Midvale.

Many of the victim's report missing iPods, cell phones and one victim is missing golf clubs.

The is is in addition to the nearly 100 cars targeted over the weekend at Jerry Seiner in South Jordan and Ken Garff Ford in South Jordan where thieves removed GPS unites from several cars.

Investigators say the majority of the Midvale break-ins took place at the Holiday Inn Express on 7134 South 700 East.

Police say other break-ins were reported at four other locations with-in two mile area south of I-215.

Jayme Quinn found a drop of blood in her car and watched as police collected a sample for DNA evidence.  "As far as I'm concerned if they continue to do that they'll get caught," said Dayne Steed.

Midvale police are looking for three men in a white four door passenger vehicle.  They were seen driving a white four door passenger vehicle.

Call the Unified Police Department, American Fork police or South Jordan police department with tips.
