Good Sunday afternoon,
The workweek will start off mild and sunny all across the state. Clouds will increase on Tuesday, with a few showers mainly north of Salt Lake. A cold front will cross the area Tuesday night, delivering a cooler shot of air for Wednesday. From Wednesday through Friday, the weather will be very nice with near normal temps and sunny skies.
Looking ahead to next weekend, there is the potential for a big change toward colder and snowy weather, even in the lower elevations. Cold air is gathering up near Alaska, and it looks like this will make a straight shot into the western US. This easily could be the coldest air of the fall season, cold enough for snow levels to come way down. It still is about a week about, but you can count on your ABC4 weather team to follow the latest weather trends.
Have a nice Monday,
Curtis
