SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man who was caught on camera exposing himself to children in South Salt Lake has been arrested.

According to police, the suspect was seen exposing his genitals to a 5-year old girl on Friday evening at the Columbus Center on 245 South 500 East.

Police say Columbus Center houses a public library and a charter school.

After the man exposed himself to the female child, police say she ran and told her parents, who quickly called police and reported the incident.

Police say the incident was caught on the buiding's surveillance cameras.

According to police, the same suspect was seen on video in the same building at two separate times the following day.

Police say a building employee called them and an officer located the suspect, 72 year-old Provo resident Robert Peter Ritt on the patio of the Columbus Center.

Police say Ritt was arrested and booked into this Salt Lake County Jail, where he faces a Lewdness charge. Police say Ritt is a registered sex offender.

South Salt Lake Police say they are concerned that there maybe additional unreported cases involving Ritt.
