WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a wounded man was discovered outside a West Valley City strip mall Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 1:00 p.m. police received a phone call about a possible shooting. Minutes later they found a man bleeding on the sidewalk at 3500 South and 7150 West. It appeared the man had gunshot wounds to his body.

The man was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
