I-15 CORE project nears completion

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Traffic troubles for thousands of Utah commuters will soon be over, as the Interstate 15 CORE project nears completion.

UDOT began the project nearly 3 years ago in Utah County.

On Monday UDOT says all the lanes will be open.

For those who have dealt with the delays and back-ups, the news is a long time coming.

UDOT says night work will continue throughout the weekend as crews put the finishing touches on the project.
