"After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it." --William Burroughs Adults were deprived of the free exercise of their right to bear (carry) their firearms in school zones. The so-called "Gun Free Zones" created by Congress that are today's schools have become "Killing Free Zones" since mass murderers find no adults (i.e. teachers, principals, parents, librarians, etc.) who are armed to provide protection of the students under their care or even to defend their own lives. That used to be the American way, the taking of personal responsibility for self defense. Now the PC crowd belittles the exercise of the individual's RIGHT to bear arms, the RIGHT that actually guaranteed all our other RIGHTs. In fact the RIGHT that had to be exercised by Americans to bring us out from under the rule of British opresive Armies, the RIGHT that has been show to stop cowardly armed criminals in the commission of their murderous crimes. Take for instance the example of Charl Van Wyk in 1993 when three murderers entered a church in Cape Town and threw hand grenades into the congregation of 1,500 and then opened fire with AK-47 rifles on the congregation. It was Charl Van Wyk who drew his .38 revolver from concealment under his coat and opened fire on the three terrorists wounding one and driving all three cowards from the church, thus ending their killing spree.

Any or all of the parents of kids murdered in Newtown could sue the school, city, or state for NOT having someone there to prevent a slaughter.

I think it is much more intelligent to error on the side of caution given the unpredictable nature in which these mass shootings seem to happen by allowing teachers now to carry firearms into their classrooms. Because hindsight is always 20/20 and we as society can no longer afford to ask in the aftermath of everything what more could have been done towards preventing a situation like this when the answer itself is staring us right in the face. Besides I'm tired of hearing about all the red flags and warning signs that everybody so conviently misses each time one of these psychos decides to act up. If you ask me it's time for America to take a stand once and for all against this type of sensless violence!

What kind of lawsuit is there going to be when a teacher accidentally shoots a student? What kind of monetary award and from who... the school district? the state? the teacher?
