OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A fast moving grass fire at the mouth of Ogden Canyon prompted the evacuation of homes in the area early Tuesday morning.
35 homes were evacuated as eight to ten acres burned.
Fire personnel were worried about possible wind shifts.
The fire started just east of Rainbow Gardens at the mouth of Ogden Canyon on near 12th Street.
The fire was quickly contained, and the evacuation order was lifted by 9:30 a.m.
Officials say the fire was human-caused, but added that the exact cause was still under investigation.
No structures were burned, and crews stayed on scene to prevent any flare-ups.
