Good Sunday evening,
Tonight will be the coldest night for the Wasatch Front since the Olympics were held here in Utah, back in 2002.  Tonight's lows along the Wasatch Front will be between -5 and -10.  The Wasatch Back, the Uinta Basin, and the west deserts will likely be between -10 and -20!  And the normally coldest spots will come close to -30.  It will be dangerously cold.  Monday morning will be bitterly cold heading out to work and school  High clouds will build through the day, becoming mostly cloudy by afternoon.  Highs will be frigid as well, generally in the 0s and 10s.  As we go through the workweek, an inversion will return as warmer air moves in aloft.  The air quality and visibility will decrease.  However, locations not affected by the inversions will see temperatures climb well above average by next weekend.  Also, as high pressure anchors itself to the Rockies, it could be 2 weeks before we see snow again.
Stay safe and warm.
