BYU student killed in Kane County crash

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Highway Patrol says a BYU student has been identified as the individual who was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Mount Carmel on November 20.

The UHP says the crash happened on Highway 89 in Kane County when the driver, Taylor Morris apparently fell asleep and drifted off the road.

According to the UHP, Morris' 18-year-old sister Madeline of Spring Hill, Texas was riding in the back seat and was killed in the crash.

Taylor Morris was hurt in the crash, while another passenger from Arizona was uninjured.

The crash was still under investigation.
