SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Despite a growing call to release more of their tax returns,
Ann Romney says she and her husband will not.
The presidential candidate's wife made her case Thursday on Good Morning America.
When ABC‘s Robin Roberts asked why Mitt Romney won't release more tax returns, Ann Romney answered the question with a question,
"Do you think that's the kind of person who's trying to hide things? Or do things? No. He is so good about it."
Ann Romney also defended her husband's taxes by talking about tithing,
"You should really look at where Mitt has led his life, where he has been financially. He's a very generous person. We give 10 percent of our income to our church every year."
But her comments did little to quiet continuing cries for more returns to be released.
This includes a new USA Today poll, one in which 54% say Mitt Romney should release more than just the two years he has promised.
Still, Ann Romney says no,
“There are so many things that will be open again for more attack. And you just…give more
material for more attack. And that's just the answer."
Also, Ann Romney told Roberts that her husband has not yet decided on his Vice-Presidential pick.
