Emily Clark is happy to be home telling stories on ABC 4 Utah, where she joined the news team in June of 2010.
Emily was raised in Farmington, Utah and is a proud Davis High Dart. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business in April of 2007. During her education at BYU, she produced, reported and anchored the college's Daily News. While in the broadcasting department, she received the Earl J. Glade award for excellence in journalism.
After graduation, Emily headed north to Idaho Falls, where she worked at ABC affiliate KIFI-TV. She anchored the #1-rated morning and noon newscasts, which were named best morning shows in the state by the Idaho Press Club.
In the spring of 2010, Emily was offered her ticket home and the opportunity to be the morning show reporter at ABC 4. Emily spent the last three years chasing snow storms, fires, and being the very first each morning to witness the developing news in Utah. In May 2013, Emily took on a new role with the morning show, becoming co-anchor of Good Morning Utah. Anchoring the morning show is a dream come true for Emily and she feels it is an honor to be a part of Utahns' mornings.
When not waking up early for Good Morning Utah, Emily enjoys cooking, wakeboarding, yoga, shopping and being with the people she loves most.
Emily loves telling stories of Utahns dong extraordinary things. If you have an interesting story idea, Emily can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
