Emerson Lotzia

Emerson Lotzia moved to the Beehive State to join Wesley Ruff and Dana Greene on the award-winning ABC 4 Sports Team in the spring of 2010. Before calling Utah home, Emerson spent three years as the weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for the number one rated station in Elmira, New York. During his time at WETM-TV, Emerson won the 2008 New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association Award for best sports coverage. Emerson was also part of the sports team that won the 2009 New York State Broadcasters Association Award for outstanding sportscast.

Emerson was born and raised in the Sunshine State in Jacksonville, Florida. His amazing parents, Emerson Sr. and Maureen, still live there along with Emerson’s dog, Ferris. You can also find Emerson's sister there who is expecting her first child this summer. After attending Bishop Kenny high school Emerson traveled a few hours south to Orlando where his broadcasting career began at the University of Central Florida. Go Knights!

When Emerson’s not working on the local sports stories you care about, he enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah. Emerson also enjoys staying active by working out and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Utah. You might even find him in the kitchen trying to cook up something delicious from time to time.

Emerson loves to meet new people so if you ever see him out and about don’t hesitate to say hello. If you have a comment, sports story, blog idea or simply want to see how his golf game is doing go ahead and send Emerson a message below.
