Susan joined the ABC-4 News team in November 2003. She spent several years working in Salt Lake City from 1990 to 1999 as an anchor and reporter at another Salt Lake area television station, then took a job on the California coast as an anchor/reporter at KION in Monterey/Salinas.

Susan spent most of her life in Salt Lake City, enjoying the fantastic ski slopes and wonderful people of Utah. She graduated from BYU with a BA in Communication. During her college years she worked at BYU's FM station, then began her commercial television career at KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She also worked at KIFI in Idaho Falls.

Adventure fills Susan’s life. She loves skiing, fast cars, good, loud music, musical theatre, gardening and good friends and a wonderful family.

Susan also enjoys life with her two teenage daughters, both of whom love volleyball, current events, family and cell phones.
