Just a thought to tuff lady. I believe that if Matheson votes for this health care plan he will be voted out of office and he can go one the unemployment line. Why do we need to except a medical plan that is being shoved down the throats of all Americans by one party? This plan "sucks"

It is my opinion that the story that has been offered to the police and to the media as well to the citizens of Utah by Mr.Josh Powell regarding the disappearance of his wife Susan is as phony as a three dollar bill. At this time all I can do is to wish to the Cox family well and hope they remain strong and I wish the same to the Powell family although there comes a time where one needs to see whats going on here.

An over four-ream length health care bill with over a trillion dollar price tag attached is insane. The answer is to halt the financial train wreck that is fast approaching and look to zero in on and fix the health care problems that exist. A sweeping overhaul of health care that will be controlled by the Government is not the answer.

DR-3/19/10 I am for Health care Reform because as a country we need to do something about Healthcare. 4 years ago I was unemployed and I have asthma. The cost for simple stay alive drugs like aerobid and albuterol take up a good part of the cost to just be well enough to get actively looking for a job. The other reason I stand behind HealthCare reform is we are bold people. If we can go to the moon and build space stations and send Space crafts into the depths of our solor system(spending trillions of dollars) than we can have a little bit of domestic health reform. Also If we can decide to go to War and stay in forign countries for 10 to 50 years(spending trillions of dollars) we can aford working on our wellness of this country.

I have worked in the welfare system and had a gentleman live with us for 9 months that never paid a dime into the system (he wasn't hispanic) He got operations, hospital stays, ambulances, home care which included someone to clean for him and nursing. He also received all his medications for next to nothing while all the time collecting over $600 a month SSI. Most people run scared because of the propaganda they listen to from the news media. Here are some things in the bill that most people are not aware of. The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved. The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business, and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats, and most of them will not be health care professionals. Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled by the government. Those of us who don't want insurance will have no choice. It is totally unconstitutional and only being forced as a means to destroy all our freedoms and make us completely dependent on the government.

I work in health care believe me we need reform. I have also been on the other end of this. We see patients everyday that have to choose between necessary medication or treatment and other basic needs like food and shelter. Doing nothing is not the answer. If we continue doing nothing our children really are going to pay the price. Please don't continue to stick your heads in the sand. This is not going away.

Susan Powell/Who Cares? That responder is probably Josh Powell, who obviousl murdered his wife then drove out to the west desert and buried her body. Think Mark Hacking, Scott Peterson. But this murderer has 2 small children living with him. Who knows what he will do to them, next time he gets pissed off? Think of it. Wet spot on the carpet with a fan drying it. Where Susan lost her bladder after her husband strangled her to death or sat on her chest. No blood, just urine. Puts her in the back of the mini van. Then gets the kids, puts them in the van, knowing driving will put them to sleep. He's thinking where do I go? So he heads west. Drive a couple hours, or three, turn south at wendover. Its a road, keep driving. There are a few caves out there. Kids keep sleeping. He buries her. Chops her up and buries her? Who knows. Before he could get home to take care of what he may have forgotten, the cops get in, there lies her purse, her cell phone. He couldn't take those, he knows the pings on cell phone towers would trip him up. Of course he could pack up and move, he knows his wife is dead, so she won't be coming home and no one is going to call to say they found her, because he knows where he buried her. Besides, he is alot closer to border, for when they do find a body, and he sees the report on TV. Even now, he is keeping track by logging on to SLC news channel web sites. When they found that last body out by wendover a month or so ago, didn't they report he jumped in his car and took off? He was here in Salt Lake at the time. So its obvious she is out west somewhere. Just need to get somebody alot bigger than him to pick him up and take him out into the boonies, and then beat the crap out of him until her confesses. At least the family will get her body back so she can be buried properly. Doesn't matter how much or how many times Josh repents, his soul will not make it to a nice peaceful place when it leaves this existence.

When I was a volunteer with Prisoner Information network I brought a diabetic out of the prison who had a severe infection. The 4th St. Clinic prescribed antibiotics which, of course, he couldn't get because he had no money. The homeless shelter asked him to leave after the second night because he kept falling out of bed. He was sitting on the streets of Salt Lake City, dying. Finally someone called an ambulance, he was taken to University Hospital where his leg was amputated at a cost of several thousands more dollars to the hospital and to those of us who pay insurance premiums than the antibiotics would have been. We need health insurance reform and we need it NOW.
